Myron Howard Nadel lecture

 A modern dance professor Myron Howard Nadel is visiting Vytautas Magnus University.

On the 9th-10th of March, there will be a lecture and workshop with M. H. Nadel who is a former student of Juliard School and a former dancer of one of the world’s most known modern dance companies - José Limón
 
On the 9th of March, 11 am, in VMU Art Gallery “101” (Laisve av. 53-101) the professor will give a lecture on "Dance of the XX–XXI century: artistic expression of ideas and the variety of dance styles";
On the 10th of March, 11 am, in the Department of Contemporary Arts (Vytautas av. 71, class 101) there will be a practical dance workshop with M. H. Nadel.
The lecture and practical dance workshop are cost-free.

About Myron Howard Nadel
Myron Howard Nadel is a universal and interesting representative of the art world. M. H, Nadel’s activities certainly can be described as multifaceted because his artistic work is also directly related to the academic sphere. Nadel is a former dancer, actor, choreographer, graduate of Juliard School and Columbia University. Moreover, he is the professor of various US universities and the author of a book The Dance Experience which won the Critics’ Choice Award for best academic title.
His major dance teachers were José Limon, Antony Tudor, Louis Horst, Lulu Sweigard and Martha Hill. M. H. Nadel has performed professionally as a dancer and actor since his youth. Throughout his all career, Nadel danced in Milwaukee, Pittsburgh, New York, Philadelphia and other U.S. dance companies. He has also performed roles on the US and Europe television. His choreography has appeared with the Milwaukee and Maryland Ballets, CBS Repertory Workshop, companies in Australia and Norway
